Booking and payment for a fishing charter with Anna 2 fishing trips is deemed acknowledgement and acceptance of these conditions. Anna 2 Fishing Trips reserves the right to review and change these booking conditions at any time, without prior notice.
There are many variables when arranging our fishing trips, including place availability, wind and tide conditions. We often have to make a number of re-arrangements with dates and times, due to individuals cancelling, or cancellations due to weather. Because of these variables it's really important to book as far in advance as possible to secure you booking and avoid disappointment. If you are travelling to Jersey and haven't booked in advance, please contact us as soon as you arrive, as many travellers 'miss the boat' by calling last minute.
Deposits
A deposit is require to make a booking. The balance outstanding is due at least 28 days before your confirmed date. All payments are processed using our online system, unless stated otherwise in your confirmation email. When booking either for a Group or a Whole Boat Charter, the lead name shall be responsible for the total balance outstanding. For example; If a booking is made for 5 people and only 4 arrive, the lead name is responsible for paying the difference.
Cancellations, Refunds and Weather
We require a minimum of 14 days notice of any booking cancellation. Any deposit paid will not be refunded after this time. If your booked fishing trip is cancelled due to weather condition or boat malfunction, we will either issue a full refund, or propose a suitable alternative date. There may be occasions when we are forced to cancel directly before the trip or even shorten the trip while in progress. In this instance we will refund a proportion of the trip cost, based on the remaining time.
Refunds will not be given in the following instances:
1. A person becomes unwell during a fishing trip and requests to be returned back to shore.
2. A person decides they just don't like fishing or being at sea and request to be returned back to shore.
3. Late arrival and subsequently missing the fishing trip.
4. You are abusive or violent towards the skipper, staff or other passengers.
All charters are subject to weather conditions. We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to bad weather (even at short notice). With safety in mind, it is the skippers decision where to actually fish on the day. In an instance where the weather may turn unexpectedly, it is at the skippers discretion whether the trip continues and/or a full or part refund is given. This would always be a fair and agreed decision.

B) any indirect, direct, consequential, financial or economic loss or damage to property arising out of an act or omission of Anna 2 fishing trips.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers must be produced at the time of boarding otherwise a new fare must be paid. If the person holding the voucher misses the trip on the booked day without providing notice, or is late and the boat has left port, then the voucher will be forfeited. Vouchers are non-refundable but we would agree to transfer into another name, by prior notice.
Safety
Anna 2 Fishing Trips aim to provide a safe and happy fishing experience, and to this aim a safety brief is given on board before every departure. If required at any time, we reserve the right to ask passengers to wear a life Jacket. An offshore fishing trip is generally a safe experience, but as with most activities of this kind there is a small risk of injury. We ask our passengers to understand and appreciate the potential dangers involved. Once aboard the vessel customers must accept these risks. All customers are expected to declare any pre-existing medical conditions or medication prior to departure. This will not inhibit your trip but will make the skipper aware if you do require special attention.
Customer Behaviour
We want all on board to enjoy their trip, so please behave safely and in a respectful manner to all staff and other customers.
Alcohol and Smoking
For the safety of crew and passengers, alcohol is not allowed to be taken or consumed on the boat. This is a condition of insurance. Smoking is acceptable on the deck, not in the cabin, provided it does not interfere with the safety, or the comfort of other passengers. Illegal substances are strictly forbidden on board the boat.
